Who is it for?

  • Managers in import/export and/or manufacturing companies responsible for customs and foreign trade compliance.
  • Managers in freight forwarding/brokerage companies;
  • Directors responsible for control and supervision of the above processes.

What's in it for me and my business?

To gain new and update existing knowledge on the developments and news in the customs and foreign trade regulations in Serbia with the particular emphasis on the content and practical application of the Central European Free Trade Agreement - CEFTA. We’ll also touch upon certain aspects of the Interim Agreement (IA) and of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA).


What will I be able to do after I receive training?

You will:

  • Increase your awareness of obligations and procedural possibilities set by valid customs & foreign trade regulations.
  • e able to identify benefits for your companies provided by preferential trade arrangements between CEFTA parties as well as with EU, such as diagonal/bilateral cumulation etc.
  • Be aware of documentary requirements in the application of rules on preferential origin.
  • Be able to avoid non-compliance issues arising from inadequate application of preferential trade arrangements.
  • Be able to apply the above on individual transactions.
  • Ask questions.
