Understanding and solving problems is an essential requirement for effective management. Other competencies required from professionals and managers, such as conceptual thinking and use of expertise, cannot optimally deliver results if analytical thinking is not developed.

This training provides a framework and tools for systematic problem analysis and supports participants in identification of problem elements which can be addressed.

• Understand critical points and common mistakes in the process of problem solving
• Use techniques for identification of possible causes/factors affecting the problem, their evaluation, generation and evaluation of solutions
• Understand what kind of attitude is necessary for analytical thinking at its best.

What will I do and experience during the training?

You will:

• Be presented an effective problem solving model
• Participate in discussion on the typical phases in problem solving
• Be engaged in group work on a case from your real business practice where you will apply the model for effective problem solving
• Receive immediate feedback
• Prepare your own action plan for further Analytical Thinking development
